BJP, Cong make common cause

Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee member Narendra Ravat said 8220;Aamir Khan was not aware of the ground reality of the Sardar Sarovar Project nor does he understand the plight of the five crore people of Gujarat who have been finding it difficult to quench their thirst with the onset of summer season.8221;

Vadodara BJP unit president Shabda Sharan Brambhatt said youth workers of BJP would not tolerate Aamir Khan8217;s utterances on the project.

8220;Since when Aamir Khan started championing the cause of farmers?,8221; he asked and pointed out that water of Parvati river in Madhya Pradesh was being polluted due to Coca Cola8217;s plant and Khan himself is the brand ambassador of the company. The Congress has called for a bandh on Sunday.
