US-64 price up

MUMBAI:The Unit Trust of India (UTI) has raised the August 1999 sale price of US-64 by 15 paise at Rs 13.65 per unit, while the repurchase price has been fixed at Rs 13.35. The July sale and repurchase prices were Rs 13.50 and Rs 13.20 respectively. The 15 paise rise in both cases has been prompted by increase in the net asset value of the scheme, sources said.

Dr Reddy’s net dips

MUMBAI:Pharmaceutical major Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has registered a 12 per cent drop in net profit during the first quarter of 1999-2000 fiscal to touch Rs 18.68 crore as against Rs 21.44 crore over the same period last year. ONGC net falls NEW DELHI: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation announced a 10.33 per cent fall in its net profit in the first quarter of the current fiscal at Rs 605.08 crore despite a 4.71 per cent rise in turnover.
