
BSE to shift 25 cos to Z group
MUMBAI: The Bombay Stock Exchange BSE has decided to put 25 erring companies in the newly formed quot;Z groupquot;. These companies have not complied with and are in breach of several provisions of the listing agreement of the exchange. Trading in these scrips will commence from July but the exact date would be announced in due course.

Templeton India unveils Gilts fund
MUMBAI: The Rs 370 crore Templeton Asset Management India Private Ltd Monday announced the launch of an open ended dedicated government securities Gilts fund that aims to provide regular income with zero credit risk through investments in gilts. Outlining the features of quot;Templeton India Government Securities Fundquot; TGSF, Templeton India president and CEO, Vijay C Advani told newsmen today that it offered investors a safe, affordable, liquid and efficient investment option.
quot;It offers the option of two investment plans, the dividend plan for investors interested in regular flow of income and the growth plan for long term investors like provident funds seeking capital appreciation,quot; he explained.
