MUMBAI: Piramal Enterprises, together with BUPA, the UK8217;s largest health and care provider, will introduce for the first time in the country a unique concept of quot;one stopquot; health facilities. A joint venture agreement to this effect was signed recently between Ajay Piramal, chairman, Piramal Enterprises and Andrew Kielty, managing director, BUPA Asia. BUPA Piramal Healthcare Ltd, a 50:50 joint venture with an equity of Rs 14 crore, will set up healthcare clinics in India to provide a full spectrum of primary care and diagnostic facilities.

MUMBAI: The net sales turnover of Mirc Electronics Ltd for the first half year of the current year ended September 1999 is placed higher at Rs 365.13 crore compared to Rs 301.21 crore in the same period of last year. The gross profit has risen by 50 per cent to Rs 24.38 crore Rs 16.24 crore. The net profit has zoomed to Rs 17.53 crore from Rs 11.33 crore.

MUMBAI: Chennai-based Helios amp; Matheson Information Technology Ltd, an existing profit-making and closely held public limited company, will make an initial public offering IPO of shares at a premium of Rs 40, aggregating Rs 10.81 crore. Over 21.63lakh shares that would be on offer have been fully underwritten and the promoters stake in the company, which is at 87.22 per cent now, is expected to come down to 51.97 per cent post-issue.
