HONG KONG, Dec 6: India’s Vivek Bhandari carded his lowest round of the year, a six-under-par 65, to improve his chances of a high finish on the third and penultimate day of the $350,000 Anderesen Consulting Golf Open today.

However ace professional Jeev Milka Singh, who has experienced the winning feeling three times on the Omega Tour and a fortnight ago became the first Indian to qualify for next year’s European Tour, paid the price for a poor finish to his third round. Jeev finished the round with a 74.

Jeev, who made the cut by one after scores of 76 and 69, was one under par for the day stepping on to the 14th but had two successive bogeys and a double bogey at the last where he was in trouble off the tee. Jeev finished the round with a 74.
