NEW DELHI, January 22: Reigning champions in sub-junior boys, sub-junior girls and cadet girls sections, Bengal have been given pride of place in the team championships for the 60th sub-junior and inter-state table tennis championships to be held at Indore from January 25 to 30.

Last year8217;s champions Petroleum Sports Control Board Academy PSCBA head the cadet boys seedings list. As many as 24 states have confirmed participation.

The draws for team events were held at the TTFI office here today in the presence of chief referee Gopal Rahut, chairman of classification committee, Hukam Singh, and TTFI secretary M C Chowhan. The draws for open events will be held in Indore.

Draws and groupings
Sub-junior boys: Group A: Bengal, Mah B, Karnataka, Kerala, UP, Chandigarh. Group B: PSCB Academy, AP, Assam, Pondicherry, Goa, Tripura. Group C: Mah A, Haryana, Punjab, Bihar, Orissa, J-K. Group D: TN, Delhi, MP, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Meghalaya.

Sub-junior girls: Group A: Bengal, TN, Bihar, AP, Gujarat, Goa. Group B: Mah A, Punjab, Haryana, MP, Rajasthan. Group C: Karnataka, Delhi, Kerala, Orissa, J-K. Group D: Mah B, Assam, UP, Chandigarh, Tripura.

Cadet boys: Group A: PSCB Academy, Assam, Kerala, Punjab, Gujarat, Tripura. Group B: TN, MP, AP, Mah B, Orissa, Goa. Group C: Bengal, Bihar, Rajasthan, J-K, Pondicherry, Haryana. Group D: Delhi, Karnataka, UP, Mah A, Chendigarh, Meghalaya.

Cadet girls: Group A: Bengal, Mah A, Haryana, AP, J-K. Group B: TN, Bihar, Chandigarh, Punjab, MP. Group C: Karnataka, Rajasthan, Delhi, UP, Tripura. Group D: Assam, Kerala, Mah B, Orissa, Gujarat.
