Bandh to create Kalwan district

NASHIK, JAN 8: Bandh was observed in the western part of Baglan taluka to demand the creation of a separate Kalwan district. The bandh call was given by the local BJP and Shiv Sena units. The bandh was observed in 38 villages attached to the Kalwan Assembly constituency represented by Trial Development Minister Arjun Tulshiram Pawar BJP. The demand for the creation of a separate Kalwan district was first made by Pawar and his cabinet colleague from Nashik city, Health Minister Daulatrao Aher about a fortnight ago. The demand had annoyed the leaders of Malegaon.
