BANGALORE, July 27: Badmintion ace Rajiv Bagga stole the limelight, capturing two gold as India bagged five medals in the badminton events of the 18th World Games for the Deaf Silent Olympics, which concluded at Coppenhagen in Denmark yesterday.

Bagga lifted the singles title, easily beating Anderssen Jennich of Denmark 15-4, 15-9 and later teamed up with Sandip Dhillon to emerge victorious in the doubles by defeating the host pair of Anderssen and Jesper Jensen 15-1, 15-7, according to a report received here today.

Dhillon earlier won the singles bronze with a 15-12, 15-3 win over Komori Tomofumi of Japan.

Talented Ranjini Ramanujam claimed the silver for India in the ladies singles after losing 5-11, 6-11 to Wammelsdorf of Germany.
