Henrik Larsson celebrated his return to the international stage with the perfect illustration of everything he is about 8212; both as a footballer and a man.

After helping himself to two of the kind of goals hat have made his reputation, Larsson then spurned the opportunity to complete a hat-trick in the 5-0 hammering of bulgaria, by handing Zlatan Ibrahimovic the chance to open his own Euro account from the penalty spot.

It is hard to imagine many strikers giving up such a chance but Larsson insisted he was happy to see the junior partner in Sweden8217;s strike force open his own Euro 2004 account. 8216;8216;I8217;m happy I scored but the most important thing was getting the three points which we managed to do,8217;8217; Larsson said.

Although Larsson had been designated as Sweden8217;s penalty taker before the match, he happily stood aside when Ibrahimovic indicated he wanted to take it.

8216;8216;Zlatan felt he wanted to take it and that8217;s no problem with me. Now he8217;s scored as well, and that8217;s good,8217;8217; Larsson said. Surprisingly, Larsson has still not found a club to play for next season following his decision to quit scotland after seven trophy-laden seasons at Celtic. Monday8217;s performance should help to increase his options but Larsson was adamant he will retire this summer if the right offer does not come along.

8216;8216;At the moment I8217;m only concentrating on these championships. What comes after, that will come but if nothing comes then I will stop.8217;8217;
