AMRITSAR, July 26: The state level B.Ed. Entrance Test was conducted at 126 centres in Punjab by the Guru Nanak Dev University today.Om Avasthi, coordinator of the test said that admission to B.Ed. course in all the education colleges affiliated to GNDU, Punjabi University, Patiala and Punjab University, Chandigarh, except the colleges located in Chandigarh, will be made on the basis of the merit in this test.Avasthi said that more than 35,000 students from all over Punjab appeared in the test. The university deputed more than 4,500 teaching and non-teaching staff for the smooth conduct of the test, he added.
