Ayodhya temple to be built at all costs, says RSS

NEW DELHI, June 22: RSS chief Rajendra Singh has asserted that a temple would be constructed at the disputed site in Ayodhya 8220;at all costs8221; and expressed the confidence that the court would give a favourable verdict.

8220;But, in case this does not happen, a legislation can be enacted in Parliament based on consensus as had been done by the then Rajiv Gandhi Government in Shah Bano case,8221; Singh said in an interview to RSS mouthpiece Panchajanya.

Stating that the RSS did not want any confrontation, he accused certain so-called Muslim leaders for adopting confrontationist approach for the sake of their vote bank.
