MUMBAI, May 29: A special security cover has been provided by the army for the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre BARC following heightened threat perceptions in the wake of the nuclear tests conducted by Pakistan. BARC sources said on Friday the army began erecting anti-aircraft guns, radars and other equipment at the nuclear installation since Thursday. Hills in BARC8217;s vicinity have been sanitised for security and additional defence equipment installed, sources said.
