CHENNAI, NOV 18: Tension prevailed for some time on Thursday near the Central Prison here as families, mostly women and children, converged in front of the prison complex demanding to see their relatives, who were under detention.When permission to visit their relatives inside the prison was rejected, some of them squatted for nearly half-an-hour on the road. After senior police officials interceded the protest was called off and later the families were allowed to visit the detainees, police said.
