NEW DELHI: Air India8217;s pilots, for the first time in the airline8217;s history, will be offered a stock option scheme when the government disinvests in the national flag carrier.

The stock option is part of the new wage agreement approved by AI8217;s board on Wednesday. quot;The pilots will be issued IOUs which can be converted into equity shares at a later date,quot; confirmed M P Mascarenhas, MD.
