While it is the practice of the Bangalore Turf Club to send urine samples of the winners of graded races and classics, to Hong Kong, one random sample everyday is being sent to Hong Kong this season. While all the samples tested in the country have come mostly negative, an astonishingly high number of samples sent to Hong Kong have come positive. Out of about 30-odd urine samples sent since last year, five have tested positive. The inevitable conclusion from the latestrevelation is that it is imperative on the part of the BTC to send more samples to Hong Kong to prevent indiscriminate use of drugs.
