A Swami for all parties

Swami Chidanand Saraswati, who helped organise L K Advani8217;s meeting with the Christian community leaders last week, came in contact with the BJP leader when he spent the New Year Day in 2007 at his Rishikesh based 8216;Parmarth Niketan8217; ashram. Advani later wrote the epilogue of his book, My Country My Life, during another visit to the ashram. In it, he observed: 8220;Swami Chidanand Saraswati8217;s work for the reform and renaissance of Hinduism is something that I have greatly admired.8221; Apart from Advani, Congress leaders like Abhishek Manu Singhvi too have visited the ashram and their pictures are prominently displayed there.
