Away from the cricket field, seldom does one see Sachin Tendulkar without his ear phones plugged in, listening to music. Today, though, it seemed he was in a mood to talk rather than listen.

Perhaps it was because he8217;d found a better option than his iPod to unwind. 8216;8216;Irfan Pathan is a great singer8217;8217;, Sachin said. 8216;He8217;s got a great voice, definitely the best in the team. He8217;s not a public singer, but I just hide somewhere near and listen to him.8217;8217;

Pathan, listening in, just blushed and smiled.

The team was in a relaxed mood after yesterday8217;s emphatic win but Tendulkar had one grouse: He missed the whole of Dhoni8217;s 46-ball power-knock. 8216;8216;I went for an ice-bath and shower when Dhoni got going and the match was over before I could come out. But Harbhajan was there, he kept telling me what was happening inside, so I came to know that we8217;d won.8217;8217;

Tendulkar then let on why, even after 16 years of international cricket, he faces constant problems with the sightscreen.

8216;8216;You see, it gets really difficult when a short batsman like me faces a tall bowler. The trajectory is totally different. Actually it depends on a lot of factors; for example, the position of the sun. Sometimes it gets too bright on one side because of the reflection, so you tend to get distracted,8221; he explains.

He also spoke about GOAT. His favourite food is still seafood but GOAT is Muhammad Ali8217;s book, Greatest Of All Times. The 800-page book, one of Tendulkar8217;s prized possessions, was give to him by a visiting English journalist and he8217;s 8220;read that book keenly8221;.
