Police say six men have been charged in a terror plot foiled when authorities seized three vehicles carrying more than 1,000 kg of explosives near Islamabad.
Rana Mohammad Shahid, head of the Crimes Investigation Agency in Rawalpindi, where the plot was intercepted, said on Sunday that the suspects were taken to an anti-terrorism court after being formally arrested on Saturday. Officials say the suspects allegedly planned to attack “important installations” in Pakistan.
