I lost my parents and four-year-old daughter under the rubble and my wife needs constant medical attention. I am told that I will get a home soon8212;just don8217;t know when,8221; says Khan Ahmed 32, who drives an autorickshaw and is staying at his relative8217;s house. 8220;I still remember the way I pulled out my daughter8217;s body after two days, and my parents a day after that. It is a nightmare I live with every day,8221; he added.

At least 103 of the displaced have been allotted houses in Tunga village, while others have been moved to different areas around Powai. 8220;The allotments have been made, and the houses will be occupied soon. And in cases where allotments are due, there are issues we are helping them out with,8221; explained Naseem Khan, MLA from the area whose follow-up has speeded up the process, say residents.
