MUMBAI, OCT 28: Two persons suspected to be members of the Chhota Rajan gang were killed in a police encounter at Kapurbavdi in Thane today. One, identified as Akbar Ibrahim Khan was a Kalyan resident. The other person8217;s identity is yet to be ascertained.

Police control informed that the duo was travelling by auto rickshaw when they were spotted by an anti-extortion police team. When asked to surrender, they fired at the police. The gangsters were killed in the exchange of fire.
