SAS NAGAR, Sept 19: About 113 people were challaned for various traffic violations here today in the ongoing special drive launched by the local police in compliance with the directions of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
According to police sources, the majority were challaned for driving without a helmet, documents, pollution certificate, driving licence and for jumping red lights. The SHO Phase I challaned 29 persons, in charge Traffic Wing 8212; 42 violators, 40 were challaned by SHO Sohana.
