What shoppers hate to buy

The reason is fear about buying the wrong product.

Baby food, mobile phones and video game systems are the items shoppers hate to spend their money on,a survey has revealed.

The reason is fear about buying the wrong product,as well as the need to get value for money.

The global poll of 13,000 shoppers – including 2,000 in Britain –found that one in four shoppers loathe buying baby food, while mobile phones are disliked by one in six and video game systems by one in seven.

The findings are in the People- Shop report – a study of shopping behaviour and attitudes carried out by leading shopper agency Arc.

“Purchasing decisions are highly emotional and rewarding, yet at the same time the fear of making the wrong decision makes them immensely stressful,” the Daily Express quoted Diana Cawley,of Arc,as saying.

“Our study offers a fascinating look at today’s savvy consumers and highlights the complexity of our shopping habits,” she added.
