Baisakhi 2025 Date: Baisakhi, or Vaisakhi, also known as Sikh New Year, is a significant agricultural festival celebrated primarily in Punjab and among Sikh communities, largely in the Indian state of Punjab. In addition to being an agricultural festival, the Sikh community celebrates it as a religious observance, marking the foundation day of the Khalsa Panth.

Baisakhi is celebrated on the first day of the month of Vaisakh in the Hindu solar calendar. This year, Baisakhi will be celebrated on Monday, April 14, 2025, with Baisakhi Sankranti at 03:30 AM, as mentioned in Drik Panchang.

Baisakhi can be traced back to 1699, when Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth and final Sikh Guru, established the Khalsa Panth on the day of Vaisakhi.
