She admits she isn’t someone who chases trends. “Jo ladkiyon ko normal shauk hota hai na to carry a fancy bag… mujh mein vo bilkul nahi hai. I will carry anything,” she shares. Instead, she carries a roomy jhola because, as she puts it, “meri poori duniya isme fit aa jaati hai.”

Inside that oversized tote? Everything from her laptop, in her husband Zaheer’s unused laptop cover, to a tiny purse containing lipsticks, perfume, lip balm, a wallet, and house keys, as well as her go-to medicines and chewing gum.

She also carries a travel deodorant, sanitiser, a couple of makeup basics like foundation and brushes, and not one but two pairs of sunglasses, one of which comes with a super sweet story involving Zaheer sprinting through Singapore airport to buy them just before boarding.

The emotional heart of the bag? Hand-drawn birthday cards from her niece Arya: “Need to find a special spot for them,” she says.

Whether it’s a portable charger for worldwide travel or just a clip or two, Sonakshi’s bag is a mix of sentimental items, self-care must-haves, and no-fuss style. “Mujhe pata nahi aapko yeh sab cheezon mein interest kyun hai itna… lekin yeh saari cheezein thi jo mere bag mein hain,” the actor finished at the end.
