Designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock recently launched their flagship store and the event witnessed the presence of several celebrities. The interiors for the store have been done by Gauri Khan, and she along with Ananya Panday, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora, Karan Johar among others were present at the star-studded event. And while each made quite a splash with their fashion choices, it was Johar and Panday who stood out and let us tell you why.

Both the director and the actor went for sequin outfits but the similarity did not end there. The colour combination for both were similar too. Johar was seen in a red and black sequinned jacket which he teamed with a pair of distressed black jeans.

Panday, on the other hand, looked pretty in a multi-hued sequinned short dress with noodle straps. She kept the look simple and rounded it out with light pink lipstick and hair parted at the centre.

Ananya Panday was all smiles for the shutterbug.

The actor is often seen donning sequinned outfits. During the promotions of her debut film, Student of the Year 2, she had stepped out wearing a multi-hued sequin top and a matching skirt. Styled by celebrity stylists Mala Agnani Rao and Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya, the Michael Kora ensemble was accessorised with white sneakers. The look was rounded out with minimal make-up and hair parted at the centre.
