Tripura Assembly lauds PM Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Armed Forces for ‘Operation Sindoor’

The Tripura Assembly Friday adopted a unanimous resolution lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and the Indian Armed Forces for successfully conducting ‘Operation Sindoor’ in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha moved a four-page resolution in the Assembly, stating that Operation Sindoor became a historic milestone for India in the fight against terrorism. It also showed how the defence system of India has become strong over the past decade, he added.

In the Assembly, CM Saha said the Indian Army personnel courageously repelled every attack by Pakistan.

“India, through ‘Operation Sindoor’, gave a befitting reply to the terror-attack at Pahalgam,” the chief minister said.

He added that PM Modi had warned that a befitting response would be given after the Pahalgam terror attack.

Twenty-six people were killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists at Pahalgam in Kashmir on April 22.
