TMC Rajya Sabha member Sagarika Ghose on Monday said after “bulldozer justice” in Uttar Pradesh, which was ruled illegal by the Supreme Court, Jammu and Kashmir was witnessing “bomb justice”.

In a crackdown following the Pahalgam terror attack, security forces have blown up at least nine houses belonging to families of those wanted for terrorism in the Valley.

Ghose, in a post on X, called for a “decisive fight against terror” instead of “optics”.

The deputy parliamentary party leader of the TMC in the Rajya Sabha questioned why the government waited so long if it knew that the houses belonged to terrorists.

“…why did it require Pahalgam terrorist attack for this kind of action?” she asked.

“After bulldozer justice in UP is ruled illegal by the Supreme Court, now ‘bomb justice’ in Kashmir,” she said.

Political leaders in the Valley have also called on authorities to exercise caution and to avoid “alienating people”.
