Cop injured in militant attack

Policeman was posted in jammu and had come to his native village on leave.

Militants shot at a policeman and injured him in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district,officials said.

The ultras barged into the house of constable Farid Ahmad Khan at Gutlibagh,36 km from Srinagar,on Monday night and shot at him,they said.

The bullets hit Khan’s arms. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.

According to the officials,Khan was posted at Jammu and had come to his native village on leave.
