NCERT books now available on Amazon

(File Photo)Textbooks by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for all classes are now available on Amazon, with a dedicated storefront for NCERT on the e-commerce platform.
According to NCERT Director Dinesh Prasad Saklani, The NCERT faced challenges including that of pirated books and parents having to purchase books at inflated prices. Making these books available on Amazon will ensure that they are sold at the MRP, he said at an event held to sign the letter of engagement and launch the NCERT storefront on Amazon.

Textbooks that align with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE) 2023 are being developed by NCERT. Revised textbooks in keeping with the NCFSE 2023 for classes 4, 5, 7, and 8 are likely to be released for the next academic session.

The complete selection of NCERT books for all classes will be made available on the platform. Amazon is also working with NCERT to enable bulk ordering solutions for schools and government agencies to procure textbooks in bulk.
