UP: Mulayam promises free treatment for poor,pension for lawyers

Mulayam says his prestige was at stake in his home turf and asks the electorate to vote for his party.

Wooing voters,Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav today promised free treatment for the poor and pension for lawyers attaining the age of 60 if his party was voted to power in Uttar Pradesh.

Addressing election rallies in his parliamentary constituency,he said his prestige was at stake in his home turf and asked the electorate to vote for his party nominees.

“Don’t look at the candidates. Look at me and cast your votes,” Yadav said.

He reiterated his promise of providing free lap tops for Intermediate students,free education to girls up to Inter and free copies and text books for all students up to class

The SP chief also promised free treatment for the poor,waiving of farmers’ loan up to Rs 50,000 and pension for lawyers attaining the age of 60 in the event of his party forming government in the state.
