Will mutation now through affidavits

The Punjab Revenue Department Monday simplified the procedure of mutation on unregistered wills. Now,in case of unanimity amongst all dependents,they will have to just give an affidavit instead of appearing in person. Presiding over a maiden meeting of State Revenue Advisory Committee,Bikram Singh Majithia said that it was a time consuming process and especially harassed NRIs.
