Robert Vadra breaks silence,says can handle the ‘negativity’

Meanwhile,the Congress continued to defend Vadra,with Finance Minister P Chidambaram saying the IAC allegation was regarding transactions between two private individuals which cannot be questioned on the basis of an “implied act of corruption”.

Asked whether the government will hold any investigation into Vadra-DLF links,Chidambaram said: “I am not aware of the rightness or wrongness of the allegations. All I can say at this moment is that these allegations pertain to two private persons or entities and what I gather from media is that the individual has disclosed all the transactions in his income tax and other returns. Now transactions between two private individuals cannot be questioned on the basis of some imputed or implied act of corruption.”

The minister went on to say: “…nobody has alleged any quid pro quo or any corrupt motive.”
