Kasab not keeping well

Mohammed Ajmal Kasab,is not keeping well since the last few days.

Pakistani gunman and prime accused in the 26/11 terror attack case,Mohammed Ajmal Kasab,is not keeping well since the last few days and was today sent back to his cell by the court in the midst of the proceedings.

When Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam was examining witnesses,a jail officer entered the court and whispered something in his ear. Nikam then requested the court to allow Kasab to return to his cell. However,he did not assign any reason.

Judge M L Tahaliyani then asked Kasab to leave immediately.

Nikam refused to divulge why Kasab was sent back to his cell but sources said he has not been keeping well and has to undergo tests periodically.

Kasab has been wearing a sweater since the last few days as he has been suffering from fever and is undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile,prosecutor Nikam told reporters outside the court that he would try to conclude examination of witnesses latest by December 15.

To a query,he said there were about 8 to 10 witnesses left for examination.

Meanwhile,three doctors deposed in the court on post mortems conducted by them on bodies of victims killed by terrorists in the Mumbai attacks on November 26 last year.

Among them were Dr Sunanda Katke and Dr D S Bharucha.

The doctors were examined to tender corroborative evidence on people killed by terrorists at CST,Cama Hospital,Taj Mahal Hotel and Oberoi-Trident Hotel.

Eye witnesses have already deposed before the court saying that they had seen Kasab and slain terrorists firing at people.
