JK govt shifts 15 KAS officers to tone up admin

The J-K govt shifted 15 Kashmir administrative service officers to streamline the administration.

In a minor reshuffle,the Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday shifted 15 Kashmir administrative service (KAS) officers to streamline the administration,official sources said.

The KAS officers include Additional Deputy Commissioners of Kathua,Budgam and Kupwara districts.

S C Sawhney,Additional Secretary of Rural Development Department,has been posted as Additional District Development Commissioner,Kathua.

Mohammad Aslam Qadri has been made Additional Deputy Commissioner of Budgam as a replacement for Ravinder Kumar Pandita who has been posted as additional secretary of forest department.

Itrat Hussain,Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Social Welfare has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner,Kupwara. He has replaced Bashir Ahmad Wani who has been made administrator of associated hospitals,Srinagar.

Fida Hussain,Project Director of district rural development agency,Kargil,has been transferred and posted as Joint Agrarian Reforms Commissioner,Srinagar.

Khadim Hussain,Chief Executive Officer of Zanskar Tourism Development Authority is the new CEO of Kargil Tourism Development Authority.
