Bus accident in Chamba kills at least 10

At least 10 persons including some women were killed and several others were injured as a HRTC bus skidded off the road and rolled down into a deep gorge near Bairagarh in Tissa area of Chamba district this afternoon, reports said.

The bus was on its way to Killar from Chamba and had left Chamba at 5 am in morning.

A government official said rescue teams along with locals have started to shift injured persons to the nearby hospital. The ill fated bus was HP 36-5011 and belong to Keylong depot of the HRTC.
