Engineering student from Andhra Pradesh dies by suicide at NIT Patna
A suicide note found in the room said her decision was her choice alone and that no one else was to blame, police sources said.

Reddy was a student of electronic and communication engineering (ECE) at NIT.
A second-year B. Tech student from Andhra Pradesh died by suicide at the National Institute of Technology in Patna’s Bihta Friday night.
According to the police, 20-year-old Pallavi Reddy’s roommates found her hanging from the ceiling fan of her hostel room on Friday evening and informed the college administration.
Reddy was a student of electronic and communication engineering (ECE) at NIT. A suicide note found in the room said her decision was her choice alone and that no one else was to blame, police sources said.
A press statement from office of Superintendent of Police, West Patna said: “We have found a suicide note from the student’s room. An FSL team has been called. We are looking into all possible angles of the case”.
According to sources at the NIT, Reddy had been a good student.
