Post Graduate Government College for Girls (PGGCG),Sector 11,offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses,with Computer Science,Functional English and Economics being the most popular. The prospectus-cum-admission forms will be available from June 18 and will cost Rs 80. Each prospectus will carry two forms,which will allow students to simultaneously apply in any of the other three government colleges.

In BA,the college offers Functional English,Elective English,Police Administration and French as the main subjects. In BSc,Computer Science is one of the main subjects.

In MA,English,Economics,music (vocal and instrumental),Public Administration,Sociology and Psychology are the main subjects offered by the college,while in MSc,Zoology,Chemistry and Botany are the key subjects offered.

Bcom is another popular course in the college. The forms for this course will be available online from June 14. In addition to general degree courses,the college also offers post graduation diploma course in Computer Application. The add-on courses available in the college include Guidance and Counselling,Web Designing and disaster management.

The college has also proposed to start Mass Media and video production and theory culture & landscaping from this session. These courses are subject to approval from Panjab University.

The last date for submission of forms has been specified as June 30,except for BA. Admissions will be conducted from July 9 onwards. The late admissions with Rs 500 as the late admission fee will take place between July 27 and August 8.
