Dass had gone to the Lajpat Nagar residence of the accused on August 15 after he received a call from her asking him to fix the termite problem in her residence and met two women there.

“One of them closed the door from inside while the other caught hold of him. She asked Dass to hand over all his belongings or else he will be framed in a case of rape. He handed over a gold chain,Rs 1960,two mobile phones and ATM card,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-East) Shalini Singh said.

Singh said the woman fell in bad company after her parents died in 2001 and allegedly started gambling in clubs and casinos in Goa and Nepal.
