NIT students clash

Students at the National Institute of Technology here clashed causing authorities to order the vacating of the boys hostel by second year students today.

The clash between final and second year students took place last night and the motorcycle of the hostel warden was set ablaze during it,NIT spokesman Prof Malai Niraj said.

Classes of other years were on and the scheduled examination will take place from November 21,he said adding investigations were on by the institution’s authorities to find out the reason behind the clash.

Sub-divisional officer of Saraikela divison C K Singh confirmed the incident.
