Electric car for differently abled

After this model the company is aiming to develop a joy-stick model.

For a differently abled person locomotion options are fairly limited. Kenguru – Get mobile, an automobile company has introduced an affordable one-person vehicle for the differently abled.

Stacey Zoern has been on a wheelchair for her entire life, she tried her hand on driving but did not succeed. In the hope of becoming independent in terms of traveling, she called Kenguru and raised funds for the vehicle.

Kenguru was originally developed in Hungary but due to economic crisis they had to shut down. Two years from when Stacey called them, they materialised the project.

Kenguru is a small wheel-chair friendly electric vehicle. It takes about eight hours to charge it’s batteries. Top speed of the vehicle is 40kph can go to 96kph. It has two 2-kW motors and is a rear wheel style setup.

After this model the company is aiming to develop a joy-stick model which will be primarily for people with lesser upper body strength.
