The Game: You Never Play Alone Netflix This Tamil-language series, produced by Applause Entertainment, directed by Rajesh M. Selva, written by Deepthi Govindarajan, and co-written by Selva and Karthik Bala, explores how high the stakes can get when the virtual world collides with real life. As technology spirals out of control, the series blends the intrigue of a thriller with the intensity of family conflict, the fragility of relationships, and the unsettling question of who (or what) can be trusted when the line between the real and virtual worlds begins to collapse. The cast features Shraddha Srinath, who makes her streaming debut, as the lead, alongside Santhosh Prathap, Chandini and Syama Harini. Selva says the series is "a mix of genres, a high-stakes thriller layered with family drama and the complexities of relationships". The Lost Bus Apple TV Directed by Academy Award-nominated Paul Greengrass The Lost Bus follows the true story of a down-on-his luck school bus driver and a courageous teacher in Northern California who battle together against all odds to save 22 children from an escalating inferno that would soon be known as one of America’s deadliest and most destructive wildfires. Sparked by a faulty electrical transmission line and strong winds, the 2018 Camp Fire spread with terrifying speed. As thousands of firefighters risked their lives to contain the blaze, more than 150,000 acres were scorched and over 52,000 people were forced to evacuate as the town of Paradise was nearly wiped off the map. The film is co-written by Brad Ingelsby and Greengrass. It stars Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey and Academy Award-nominated actress America Ferrera, and features appearances by several real-life first responders who battled the fire. Steve Netflix Powered by Cillian Murphy, Steve is the story of a head teacher facing the impending closure of the reform school where he works, told in parallel with the struggle of one of his students (Jay Lycurgo). Based on Max Porter’s bestselling novel Shy, Steve is a moving glimpse into the lives of two troubled souls. The film is written by Porter himself and directed by Tim Mielants (Small Things Like These). Set in the mid-’90s, the film follows a pivotal day in the life of head teacher Steve and his students at a last-chance reform school amid a world that has forsaken them. As Steve fights to protect the school’s integrity and prevent its impending closure, he grapples with his own mental health. Presence Lionsgate Play Shot in just 11 days with long, unbroken takes and the camera itself embodying the ghost, Steven Soderbergh crafts a cinematic experiment that pulls the audience inside the walls of the house, forcing them to become the unseen observer of a family’s deepest fractures and fears. The film transforms the haunted-house genre into something startlingly intimate and unnerving. Written by David Koepp, Presence follows Rebekah Payne (Lucy Liu), a driven mother determined to hold her household together after a devastating loss, while her husband Chris (Chris Sullivan) and their children, Chloe (Callina Liang) and Tyler (Eddy Maday), struggle to navigate grief, favoritism, and unspoken resentment. With each unbroken shot, the film builds a suffocating atmosphere, blurring the line between domestic drama and supernatural dread. Play Dirty Prime Video Based on the 'Parker' book Series, Play Dirty follows an expert thief who rolls out the biggest heist of his life. Parker (Mark Wahlberg), along with Grofield, Zen (Rosa Salazar) and a skilled crew, stumble onto a score that pits them against the New York mob in this gritty, clever caper. The movie is directed by Shane Black and written by Shane Black, Charles Mondry and Anthony Bagarozzi. The action-thriller's cast also features LaKeith Stanfield, Keegan-Michael Key, Chukwudi Iwuji, Nat Wolff, Thomas Jane and Tony Shalhoub.
