For years, Palak Purswani has been manifesting Bigg Boss in her life, and it finally came true this year. The actor was signed for Bigg Boss OTT 2. However, things did not turn out as she had expected. In just a few days of entering the show, Palak was evicted. “I saw my dreams come crashing down in front of me. This has been my dream for years. I am still coping with the development, and will take time to overcome,” she told indianexpress.com.

As she evaluated her journey and premature eviction, Palak said that while she gave her 100 percent, four days is not enough to make an impact. She shared how she entered the show two days after the launch, making it difficult for her to create a bond. “Allies and friendships were already made. I tried my best to form my own connections. Then I was asked to save myself, which really was a pressurising situation. I was so demotivated but I pushed myself to be in the game. I really had a lot to contribute to the game but I was ousted even before I could settle down. I also wanted to have my own graph and not jump into action from day one. I wanted to understand people and then show my cards. I guess that was my fault,” she shared.

The actor also shared that her former boyfriend Avinash Sachdev’s presence in the show added to her woes. Sharing that if he wasn’t around, her journey would have been better, Palak said, “He already had his own group and I don’t know what he told them about me. Everyone judged me from his perspective. He kept on telling everyone that I don’t listen to anyone. He hasn’t met me in more than a year, how does he know I have not evolved into a new person? He is playing a dirty game and acting so fake. I know Avinash for years and I can tell you that he is nothing like what he is projecting on the show. Even I want to see how long does he last with this gyaani image and his boring game.”

While Palak Purswani’s friends in the industry spoke about Avinash Sachdev cheating on her, she never spoke about her past. Sharing the reason for the same, Palak said, “I would have brought up my past, I had no qualms about saying he cheated on me. I wanted to understand everyone so that I can genuinely trust someone. I didn’t want to bare my heart and then have someone using it against me.”

She also shared that in the house, everyone wants to maintain peace even if comes at the cost of being insulted. “Every time someone tries to fight for themselves, you are told, ‘Ghar ka mahaul mat kharab karo.’ What is this ghar-ghar? If that’s the case, they shouldn’t have come on this show,” Palak shared, referring to her incident with Pooja Bhatt. She added, “I was the first one to go against the sherni, Pooja Bhatt. But I couldn’t let anyone walk over me. And then she called me graceless even when I handled the situation so gracefully. I know it was all because of her prior judgment thanks to Avinash.”

Calling Pooja Bhatt a ‘principal’ in the house, Palak shared, “She is a wise woman and always has good advice. But I also feel she gets personal and very brutal sometimes. She complains about woke culture and Gen Z, when she is on a show that has mostly young people. She needs to deal with it.”

Palak Purswani is rooting for Abhishek Malhan aka Fukra Insaan to win Bigg Boss OTT 2. She said that he just needs to be confident about himself. “I know he is the only one who can give it back to every one. I know he will shut Avinash up when the time comes,” Palak said, adding that she is hoping to go back into the house as her journey feels incomplete. “I am just not done yet.”
