The Mirzapur Season 3 teaser shows Pankaj Tripathi's Kaleen Bhaiya return to reclaim his throne, while Ali Fazal's Guddu Pandit eagerly awaits, ready to snatch it from him. The show will release on July 5.

Fans of Mirzapur can finally mark their calendars! The makers have just announced that Season 3 will premiere on July 5, putting an end to all the speculation. Along with this exciting news, a new teaser has been released, showing Pankaj Tripathi’s Kaleen Bhaiya returning to Mirzapur to reclaim his throne. Meanwhile, Ali Fazal’s Guddu Pandit eagerly awaits his arrival, ready to battle and snatch the throne from him.
The teaser begins with Kulbhushan Kharbanda’s voiceover, revealing how ‘sher’ Kaleen Bhaiya will face ‘sawa sher’ Guddu Pandit in the battle for the throne. The teaser gives a glimpse of the intense clash between the two lead actors, along with a preview of the upcoming fight between Shweta Tripathi’s Golu and Isha Talwar’s Madhuri Yadav. It also delves into the family dynamics and the complex saga of power, showcasing other characters like Vijay Varma, Rasika Dugal, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, and others.
In March, the makers introduced Mirzapur Season 3 in the presence of Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, and Shweta Tripathi. During the event, Ali shared some insights about the new season. He revealed that while new characters will be introduced, some familiar faces will exit the series. However, the latest season will maintain the essence of the original.
However, fans are still upset that Munna bhaiya will not be a part of the new season. Actor Divyendu, who played the fan favourite character had earlier confirmed that he would not be a part of Mirzapur Season 3. Divyendu had told Humans of Bombay, “I am not part of season 3 guys. I know it’s a heartbreak…I love those conspiracy theories, they were legit. But I shall declare that I am not part of Mirzapur Season 3.”
Many fans wrote with broken heart emoji, “Without Munna bhaiya, Mirzapur won’t be the same.” Many others also demanded his return, “Bring Munna bhaiya back.”
