Rajeev Khandelwal on Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala: It is an exciting love story

Ekta Kapoor's upcoming web show Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala brings TV heartthrobs Rajeev Khandelwal and Divyanka Tripathi together for the first time. The two actors reportedly play chefs, in the show which will go on floors in December.

Actors Rajeev Khandelwal and Divyanka Tripathi are set to present a yummy love story, at least that’s what it looks like from the posters of their upcoming web series titled Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala. ALTBalaji’s latest project is bringing these two television heartthrobs together for the first time, leaving the audience already excited.

The makers of Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala have been teasing fans with posters of Divyanka on social media. While we saw Divyanka in action as a chef, Rajeev’s face was kept hidden for the audience to guess. The latest poster finally revealed the show’s male lead and the chemistry between these two actors is palpable.

Rajeev exclusively shared with indianexpress.com, “This one is an exciting love story. The beauty is in the way it is conceived and written. We have a great team on board and everyone is equally excited and charged about it. Working with Ekta has always been special for me. This is my third outing with her and I hope I keep giving her enough reasons to continue working with me, just like she does.”

Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala has been produced by AltBalaji, the digital streaming platform of Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. The web show will go on floors from December. Author Jaya Misra is said to be onboard to pen the story.

The makers had a few days ago shared the first poster with the words CLACM, (abbreviation for Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala) asking netizens to guess the title. Soon another poster had Divyanka getting up close with her co-star, just that we couldn’t see his face. All this had only kept fans guessing and asking for more.

This will be Rajeev’s third collaboration with Balaji. He became a TV heartthrob with Kahiin To Hoga in the 2000s, and was last seen collaborating with Ekta in her web series Haq Se.

Divyanka, on the other hand, stars in Ekta’s hit TV show Ye Hai Mohabbatein.
