For those who missed watching Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire on the big screen and are awaiting its OTT premiere, the update is finally here. Prabhas’s dystopian action-drama is streaming worldwide on Netflix from January 20. Hombale Films, the production house of the film, announced the OTT premiere date on social media. The film released on December 22, so its streaming release is taking place less than a month after it came out in theatres.

Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, became another feather in Hombale’s cap as the film earned more than Rs 400 crore in India while its worldwide box office collection crossed the Rs 700 crore mark. The makers threw two parties to celebrate the success. The first one for the distributors of the film, and the second one for the cast and crew of Salaar. Now, after setting theatrical box office records, the film is finally coming to the electronic devices on Saturday.

The film is set in the fictional city named Khansaar and is about the new prince Vardha Mannar (Prithviraj) of the ruling tribe called Manaar. When men in power find his rise a threat, and stage a coup to sabotage him. He seeks help from his childhood friend Deva (Prabhas), who becomes his one-man army fighting for Mannar.
