Mahesh has been directed by Trivikram twice before in Athadu and Khaleja and are now reuniting after 12 years. Their upcoming film Guntur Kaaram is touted to be a masala action entertainer. Mahesh Babu shared the look from the film recently, in which he flaunted his swag in a shirt and kaili (a name for lungi in Southern states) and paired it with sunglasses. The poster didn’t go down well with some fans as Mahesh is seen smoking in it.
The first single of the film titled Dum Masala is expected to release on Tuesday, later in the day. Guntur Kaaram also said to have made a OTT deal of worth Rs 18 crore with Netflix. However, there is no official confirmation on this.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Guntur Kaaram is touted to be a rural action-drama, which stars Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads. Jagapathi Babu will once again be seen as a villain in the film, which also stars Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, Prakashraj, and Sunil. Thaman is composing the music for the film, which is set to be released on January 13.
