Jr NTR, Prashanth Neel kick off their first collaboration NTRNeel with pooja ceremony, film to release in 2026

On Friday, Mythri Movie Makers took to their X handle to share photos from the pooja ceremony of Prashanth Neel and JR NTR's pan-India film.

It’s official! Prashanth Neel and Jr NTR have finally kicked off their first ever collaboration tentatively titled NTRNeel. On Friday, Mythri Movie Makers took to their X handle to share photos from the pooja ceremony of the pan-India film. In another post, the makers of the movie also revealed the film’s release date–January 9, 2026.

Sharing a series of photos of Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel on X, the makers of the film wrote, “The moment we all have been waiting for is here. NTRNeel begins with an auspicious Pooja Ceremony. The duo is all set to create a monstrous havoc at the box office, See you all on his land from January 9, 2026.”

In the photos, Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel can be seen taking part in the pooja ceremony as well as posing with their respective family members. For the pooja ceremony, Jr NTR was seen wearing a black shirt paired with blue jeans. He completed his look with a pair of glasses. Meanwhile, the KGF and Salaar director was seen wearing a soft pink shirt paired with black pants.

Several videos from the massive movie launch event has also surfaced online. In one of the videos, the actor-director duo can be seen posing with their families.

The project was first announced in 2022. The story and other cast members of the film are currently under wraps. After the announcement of the movie, it was speculated that the film will be titled Dragon. However, there has been no confirmation about the same.

On the work front, Jr NTR will soon be seen in the Koratala Siva directorial Devara: Part 1, also starring Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The actor will also make his Bollywood debut with Hrithik Roshan-starrer War 2.

Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel was expected to begin work on the film Salaar Part 2: Shauryanga Parvam, the sequel to the 2023 release Salaar. However, there has been no developments around the same.
