A few X accounts shared visuals of the shocking incident where a massive cut-out of Jr NTR, erected outside the Sudharshan Theatre in Hyderabad can be seen going up in flames.

SS Rajamouli was spotted attending the first-day, first show of Devara at a cinema hall in Hyderabad. Devara marks the return of the RRR star Jr NTR after over two years since his appearance in the SS Rajamouli directorial film.

Tollywood’s Man of Masses, Jr NTR is in USA to attend Beyond Fest for the screening of  Devara: Part 1. The latest photos of the star from the event show how he got 'cheers and thunder applause' at the event. Earlier too, at the screening of his previous blockbuster RRR, Jr NTR received an overwhelming welcome with a standing ovation.

As per the early estimates shared by Sacnilk.com, Devara - Part 1 earned around made a collection of Rs 21.8 crore in India till 10 am on its first day for all languages. Jr NTR film has started positively and is expected to up the tempo as the day progresses.

Director Prashanth Neel's wife Likitha Reddy Neel shared a poster of Devara followed by a picture of a whistle in her hand and captioned it, "All set".

Composer Anirudh Ravichander was seen singing the Fear Song for the audience during one of the FDFS of Devara. The official X page of the film posted, "The man of the hour @anirudhofficial entertains the crowd by singing the #FearSong ???? #Devara."

As per a report by Sacnilk.com, Devara - Part 1 is will be making a collect of around Rs 140 crore worldwide gross. Devara is expected to emerge as the second highest Indian grosser at the worldwide box office after Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.

Not all fans seemed to be pleased with Devara. One of the X users called the film "disappointing" but praised Anirudh's music. "#Devara is Disappointing. We were excited for this magnum opus after hearing the songs and seeing the release trailer, but it did not live up to our expectations in terms of story or visual effects. Anirudh is one of the few people who did their job from the start. Siva Koratala's subtle writing strains the patience. NTR's outstanding performance is wasted. We are not sure why Jahnavi Kapoor was taken into this film. For those who were hoping for something exceptional, Devara is a huge disappointment overall," writes X user @Fukkard.

Variety's Courtney Howard took to X to praise Devara and wrote, "#Devara is an explosive, exhilarating & flat-out terrific adrenaline rush. Saif Ali Khan, who is making his debut in Telugu cinema with Devara, opened up about his experience working on the film. Speaking to India Today, he said, "The way they shoot is kind of phenomenal. We are in the same country, but it is an entirely different kind of industry. The language is different, but once the camera is on, and you are acting, it becomes a universal language. Koratala Siva (Devara director) said he would help me and cue me and I took it quite quickly. There were pages of dialogue, but it was thrilling."

Jr NTR, who last shared the screen with Ram Charan in RRR, highlighted that his upcoming film Devara is primarily focused on him. In a clip shared by Gulte, he was asked about RRR being a double-lead film. Addressing this and speaking about Devara, NTR said, 'It’s me and me. You’ve got Devara the father, and you’ve got Varada the son. It is, I mean I really don’t want to give a lot of spoilers.' He added, 'It is a rollercoaster journey of a father and son.”
