Custody teaser: Naga Chaitanya’s stages a thrilling return to action, watch video

Chaitanya is doing an pure action film after a long time. He was recently seen in films such as Love Story, Bangarraju, Venky Mama, Majli and the Bollywood film Laal Singh Chaddha, which stayed away from the genre.

The film will release in Telugu and Tamil and also stars Krithi Shetty as Chaitanya’s love interest in the film. The movie is produced by Srinivasaa Silver Screen and presented by Pavan Kumar. The film has a talented ensemble of actors such as Arwind Swami, Priyamani, Sharat Kumar, Sampath Raj, Premgi Amaren, Vennela Kishore and Premi Vishwanath. The film is set to release in theatres on May 12.

Chaitanya’s last release was his Bollywood debut film Laal Singh Chaddha, where he shared screen with actor Aamir Khan. The film was the official Hindi remake of Oscar-winning film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. In the film, Chaitanya played the role of Balaraju Bodi, a friend of Laal Singh Chaddha. In the original Hollywood film, Chaitanya’s role was played by actor Gary Sinise, whose onscreen name was Lieutenant Dan Taylor.
