Bigg Boss OTT 3 concluded on August 2 with actress Sana Makbul emerging as the winner. A few days after the Anil Kapoor-hosted show concluded, news about the main season started to generate buzz. While a tentative contestants list for Bigg Boss 18 has already begun doing rounds on social media, several media reports have also confirmed that superstar Salman Khan will return to host the latest season of this reality show. A source has revealed that Bigg Boss 18 will begin from the first Saturday of October. So far, no contestant has been locked, however, many are being approached. On Monday, Bigg Boss OTT 3 fame Payal Malik revealed in her vlog that her husband’s second wife Kritika Malik has been locked for the season. However, there is no official confirmation of this. Usually, anyone who gets locked for Bigg Boss 18 signs an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), which bears a penalty for disclosing in advance if they are a part of the show. So, Payal’s claims about Kritika joining Bigg Boss 18 might be a mere attempt to grab eyeballs.

A few names of tentative contestants for the show have been reported. Several media portals have announced that actors Arjun Bijlani, Karan Patel, Sameera Reddy, Surbhi Jyoti, Pooja Sharma, Shoaib Ibrahim, and Dalljiet Kaur might join the show. From social media influencers names like Abhishek Malhan, Mr. Faisu, Deepika Arya, Dolly Chaiwala, Maxtern, and Thugesh have been reported to join Bigg Boss 18 as contestants. The tentative list also includes names of some reality show stars like Splitsvilla 15’s rumored winners Kashish Kapoor, Digvijay Singh Rathee, and Siwet Tomar. Also, as per reports, makers might bring back Shivani Kumari, Vishal Pandey, and Adnaan Shaikh from Bigg Boss OTT 3 on to the main season.

Renovation at the Bigg Boss house has already begun for season 18.
